I have only had my silhouette for a few months, and I mostly use it to cut out my digital stamps. But with the guidance (and faith in me) from my daughter I created these coffee mugs for our Pinochle night!
I really enjoyed making these and I am excited about what I can create next! But I do need some color therapy first!

Happy Birthday Quinn!
I made this for a very special girl who is turning 6, and seeing that it it March and that she is Irish, what could be better than a "Green" birthday card!
I had a small problem with the cut settings on my Silhouette Cameo and the legs were damaged a bit but time has run out and I had to go with what I got. :(

Using the correct paper with Copics!
I am new to Copic markers, I have been trying to teach myself all that I can,
(since there are no classes for certification anywhere near where I live). I have read so many suggestions and opinions that at times it is hard to figure out just what is the right one, or the wrong one.
I will say that so far I have learned 2 very important things!
1. No one way is the right way!
2. I have read suggestions/opinions on just which paper to use.......and........
I supplied myself with some Hammermill Copy paper, (this was highly recommended on many blogs/etc)
I used this paper for the last several months thinking, oh how nice that is coming out. But man, I just can't get the hang of the "flicking" and my blends don't look as nice as those....
So I broke down and purchased the X-Press Blend-It Paper. OMG! What a difference it makes!
My Copic's just skate across the paper! My "flicking" was instantaneously massively improved! I could actually get some nice thin highlights in the hair of my latest project!
I was amazed with myself and the things I was achieving! My blends were looking fantastic!
Lesson 1: Using the correct Paper is the beginning of a creation I will be proud of!
